Frederick Warne & Co, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. 439 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative blue cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates. Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Although undated, previous owner's inscription states 1904. Pages are moderately tanned with visible foxing throughout. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Fraying to spine edges. Water staining and black marks to all surfaces. Book has a slight forward lean.
