Boston: W. Andrews and L. Blake, 1807. First edition thus. Hardcover. Good. This is the "First American from the fifth London edition", as stated on the title page. Volume 1 and 2 of the three volumes. Original sheep boards with black gilt-lettered labels on the spine. About half of the label missing on the second volume. Covers and spine with scuffing and wear, but binding is still tight and square. Moderate toning and some foxing. Early inscription to inside covers.
