Indianapolis, In: Bowen-Merrill, 1899. Book. Very Good. Cloth. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Two volume set.Green cloth with facsimile gilt signature to the front and gilt lettering to the spine. 488pp. and 593 pp. respectively. Top edges gilt. The volumes are VG. Exteriors have modest rubbing and edge wear. Bottom tips on Volume I , a bit more. Inside has a PO armorial BP on front paste downs , along with small bookseller stamp. Neat subsequent owner signature at FFEP as well. Otherwise, unmarked, crisp, and firm with modest overall toning.Frontispiece photo of Morton along with tissue guard with gilt facsimile signature as well. Also laid in is a newspaper article from the Kokomo (In.) Tribune from February 28, 1920 concerning about a Congressman from Florida supporting VP Thomas Marshall ( A Hoosier) for the upcoming Presidential convention. This title is SCARCE. Only one other such edition ( ex-library) found on Abe as of November 2021..
