Top edge gilt. The Second Edition, Revised and the first one-volume edition. xvi+ 764 pp. with index. Frontis portrait engraving of Nelson, with illustrations, maps and battle plans. A generally fine example, all gilt bright; vintage comtemporary bookplate front free endpaper, Christmas 1906 gift inscription from a father to his son top corner of the half-title.
