Hors texte plates with tissue guards throughout. No previous owners' names or other markings. Occasional foxing. Vol. 1 is organized into 3 books, and each subsequent volume with the following books: Birth, Youth and Education; The Italian Insurrection; and, Arenenberg. Vol. 2: Between Strasburg and Boulogne; Ham; The Revolution of 1848. Vol. 3: The Presidency; The Coup d'Etat; Establishment of the Empire.
