New York: The Century Company, 1909. Original red cloth covers w/ gilt title on spines and gilt decoration on front covers. Top edges gilt. Bindings moderately soiled and rubbed. Wear to corners and spine ends. Dampstain to top corner of front cover near spine of Vol. 2. Rear hinge starting in Vols. 1 and 4. Tiny tear to outer margin of several leaves in Vol. 4. Each volume is illustrated w/ 24 b/w plates, and few b/w maps.. Hard Cover. Good+/No Dust Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
