Boston, MA: Little, Brown and Company, 1866. Hardcover. Fair. 8vo. TWO VOLUME SET. Volume One is 558 pages. Volume Two is 538 pages, indexed. Hardcovers bound in red cloth with title in gilt on front cover and spine. Both copies show wear to covers. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Fraying, rubbing, tears at headcap/foot of spine. Spines are toned. VOLUME ONE: Prior owner's signature on the reverse of the frontispiece. Foxing on the frontispiece and title page. Rear hinge is broken. Text is toned but sound. VOLUME TWO: There is some splitting of the cloth where the spine meets the covers. Some foxing in the first few pages. Text is toned but sound. Good reading copy.
