Edinburgh, Scotland: Laing and Forbes, 1836. First edtiion. Hardcover. Very good. 8vo (8.5"x10.5"). 213pp along with one page of errata. Brown buckram wrapped boards (rebind). Corners bumped. Front top corner missing (.25"). Title spine label chipped. rear top corner crushed (.5"). Prior owner (Duncan Eanes) book plate pasted to interior of front board. 1.5" and 3.25" tears on portrait frontispiece page. Creases to same. Generally text block is yellowed with occasional foxing. Book inscribed by "The Author".
