New York, NY: Cassell Publishing Company, 1891. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Both volumes of the set. Brown leather covers with gilt lettering, bright and clear on cover slightly faded but very clear on spine. Some shelf wear on top and bottom of spines. 1/8 inch tear in cloth on top of spine of volume I. Some pencil marks to front papers and top of title page by previous book dealer. No other markings or creases or imperfections. Tight straight binding, frontispiece illustrations and tissues pristine. Excellent copies. Private owner, not ex-library.
