Large quartos, No. 8 of a large-paper edition limited to 150, pp. xxvi, 316; xiv, 327, gray boards three-quarter-bound in mustard morocco, illustrated with gravures and halftones, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed, signed on the limitation page by Heinemann. Condition of these books: Boards worn at extremities, spines sunned with some discoloration. V2 has a damp stain on the back cover. Overall very good. Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: Quarto. 2-volume set (complete). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
