(1st) Slightly smaller book, dark red cloth with pink thin borders and tiny design, lettering badly rubbed on front and spine, 312 lightly browned pages, illustrations throughout on photo paper pages. DJ dark rose background, illustration of woman in man's clothing at top front left, white, green and black lettering, spine lightly browned and faded, white back lightly browned and slightly soiled, b/w photo on back, praise from John W. Vandercook, Louis Adamic, Mayette Meyreng. DJ has very slight wear to most edges and tips. Fair DJ/Fine book.
