New York: The Sri Aurobindo Library Inc, 1949. First Printing. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Fine/Very Good. Thick 8vo. Pp. ix, [2], 3-1040. Glossary. Index. Bound in taupe buckram with publisher's device printed in gilt on front board, black and gilt lettering stamped on spine. In the printed dust jacket that shows sunning to spine, price of $10 intact on front flap. The title page was initially printed with The Greystone Press as the imprint; over that, a rubber stamp has with the address of the Sri Aurobindo Library (East 64th) has been added. One of the five works that comprise Sri Aurobindo's concept of an Integral Yoga program in which the divine Brahman manifests itself through "lila." Published a year prior to the yogi's death. The uncommon dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.

Synopsis
