About This Item
Harper & Brothers, 1874. Half-Leather. Good. Two volumes, smooth light brown half-leather, beautifully marbled boards, end papers and exterior page edges, slightly raised spine of darker brown with ornate, very fine gilt lettering and design, tissue-covered frontispiece in Volume I entitled "View of the Vyverberg at the Hague." Volume I: 389 lightly browned pages, ink name at top of second front end paper, slight surface wear to tips and long spine edges, very slight wear at spine top edge, slight surface wear to marbled boards. Volume II: 475 lightly browned pages, slight wear to spine top edge and label worn on at spine top right side, gilt title intact. Near Good set.
