Edited and translated by John Addington Symonds with a Biographical Sketch of Cellini by the same, together with an Introduction to this edition by Royal Cortissoz with reproductions of forty original portraits and views illustrating the life. Olive green cloth boards with elaborate gold decoration on covers and spines. Slightest hint of soiling, very slight surface wear to corners. Bindings are tight and square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with gilt top page edges. Decorated title pages. Volume 1 - 360 pages; Volume 2 - 387 pages with index. A lovely set of a classic autobiography..
