Green cloth with gold gilt decorative cover and lettering on spine; two volumes; vol. 1 - 360 pp.; vol. 2 - 386 pp.; reproductions of forty original portraits and views illustrating "the life" Both vols. have some pp. uncut; tissues over illustrations; with an introduction by Royal Cortissoz; stunning front covers. Edited and translated by John Addington Symonds, with a biographical sketch of Cellini by the same hand, together with an introduction to this edition upon Benvenuto Cellni, artist and writer, by Royal Cortissoz. With reproductions of forty original portraits and views illustrating the life.
