The Life and Adventures of Valentine Vox; The Ventriloquist by Henry Cockton 1840 Robert Tyas, London Sixty Illustrations by T Onwhyn 620 pp 875" x 575" x 2 " Full leather in very good, solid condition, with only minor scuffing and shelf wear Gilt titles and design on spine and gilt ruling on covers Front hinge cracked but intact Frontispiece, title page and plates heavily foxed (the paper for these pages was a thicker type more vulnerable to foxing), but the rest of the text has only minor browning No other marks or damage Overall in very good condition for a book of this vintage
