London: Chapman & Hall, 1844. First Edition, Second Issue . Hardcover. Very Good. xiv, (errata leaf), 624 pp (with half titles). Illustrated by Phiz, with frontispiece, additional pictoral title and 38 other engraved plates. Later gilt bordered full tan polished calf, very nicely done, spine gilt decorated, maroon morocco spine labels, raised bands, top edge gilt. First edition in book form, second issue. Spine slightly faded, very light wear to extremities, else very good or better.
