(iii) -xiv, (errata leaf), 624 pp. (without half title) Ilustrated by Phiz, with frontispiece, additional pictorial title and 38 other engraved plates. 8 1/4 x 5 1/4, later gilt bordered full green polished calf, spine gilt lettered and decorated, raised bands, all edges gilt. First edition in book form, second issue with the 14 line errata leaf after list of plates. Smith Vol. I, 7. Halton and Cleaver, pp 185-224. Spine faded, light wear to extremities, plates discolored, else very good.
