Albany, NY: Albany News Co, 1877. Pamphlet. Good. 15 p.; 23 cm. Wrapper included in pagination. Wrapper title. This edition of a popular lecture by American lawyer, author, and orator Robert G. Ingersoll (1833-1899) includes interjections reflecting the audience response throughout (for example, "Applause," and "Prolonged laughter and roars"). It also includes a synopsis of a serman by Henry Ward Beecher (1813-1887), which is discussed by Ingersoll. Very scarce. In Good Condition: lacking stitching; wrapper is lightly soiled, starting to separate, with minor edge chipping; otherwise, clean and solid.
