Paris 1766 Bassompierre. Hardcover. In French. Small octavo, 576pp., 84 vignettes. 3/4 leather. Vignettes are unusually strong and clear prints. Original circular mounted leather spine label with full gilt trim on backstrip. Three initials on front end paper otherwise no ownership marks. Attractive color decorated end papers. Good plus, h, text is clean, spine ends lightly worn down, a few small ink spots on title page and frontis, cover a bit rubbed, head of spine worn down 1/8th inch. .
