Hachette, Paris, 1866. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (Half Leather). Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. MADAME DE SEVIGNE. Lettres, Album volume, Paris: Hachette et Cie, 1866. Quarto, unpaginated with 13 engraved plates and 16 facsimile letters, some folding, half morocco over marbled boards, gilt lettering and frames in six compartments, no title page but dated 1866 on spine. Apparently the last volume in an edition that began release in 1862. See Bulletin de la Librairie Morgand et Fatout, Entry 5317. Condition of this book: Boards lightly worn with a few surface chips. Leaves clean and tight, occasional foxing but overall near fine. Size: Quarto. Text is in French. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo.
