Boston: Ticknor and Fields, 1865. First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo, [i-viii], 1-229. In Good condition. Bound in purple wavy-patterned cloth with gilt text on sunned-brown spine. Boards show sunning to spine and head edge of front cover, library sticker on spine, mild rubbing to corners, and spine edges chipped off. Text block has bookplate on front pastedown, mild foxing, partial splitting to gutter between pages 146 and 147 and between pages 166 and 167, medium open tear to rear endpaper, and library folder attached to rear pastedown.
