Pages are very clean, free from any markings, no creases, no tears. Jacket not price-clipped. These are the letters from Thomas J. Dodd, father of Senator Christopher J Dodd of Connecticut, to his wife, from Germany, where he served at the Nuremberg Trials for war criminals after WW II as a staff lawyer. He interrogated such notorious war criminals as Hermann Goring, Alfred Rosenberg, Albert Speer, Ribbentrop, and Rudolf Hess--and became the number two prosecutor in the U. S. contingent. These nightly letters were sent over the course of fifteen months describing his efforts and impressions of the proceedings to his wife.
