Philadelphia: Willia P. Hazard, 1857. Hardcover. Very good. 2 volumes. 4to. 402; 403-792pp. Recent binding of half brown morocco, gilt spine titles; Cockerel marbled paper boards. Illustrated with 150 illustrations on steel and wood. Bookseller stamps and numbers on reverse of title page and with a (shelf?) number at the base of the title and next pages in each volume. Some of the full-page plates are lightly foxed else this is a very good copy.
The first editon was published in 1841. Sabin 11538.
