Published for The Ventura County Historical Society, First Edition, 177 pages including index, folding map in rear present, Letters of Friar Jose Senan, Mission San Buenventura 1796-1823. Book is almost near Fine, ultra clean publisher's turquoise cloth with bright gilt facsimile illustration to front board, gilt title to spine as well. Previous owner name and address on first free page, nice vintage photograph of Mission on frontis no other marking or bookplate. Tight and square with sharp points, trace of wear to head and heel, nice untrimmed fore edge. Very Clean and most presentable First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
