About This Item

London: Sir Richard Phillips and Co, 1820. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. Patterned paper covers; clean and tidy, just slightly rubbed. Contents equally clean and tidy; no pen-marks. Not from a library so no such stamps or labels. Size: 230mm x 135mm. Collation: pp. [ii], 108, complete with 6 leaves of engraved plates: [1] The Tomb of Virgil; [2] Pompeii; [3] Cottage of the Shepherds of La Puglia and Temples of Vesta and of Sibyl (two engravings on one plate); [4] Cascatelles; [5] Site of Horace's House; and [6] Crypto-Porticus. All 6 plates in very decent shape, just typically darkened. Thus a very good copy.
