Signed by Thomas on the title page. As issued, in red cloth with dust jacket. A fresh copy with limited wear to the binding; contents are clean but for a contemporary owner inscription on the front pastedown; binding solid; dust jacket is a bit rubbed and slightly edgeworn, but generally presentable. "The highly unique letters of the wife of Confederate commander to her mother in the North; useful in a number of way" CWB II, 195.
