A Sister Mary Teresa Mystery. Monica Quill is the pseudonym of Ralph McInerny. 8.5"x5.5", 208 pages. Satisfaction Guaranteed. What a pleasure to welcome back the sterling Sister Mary Teresa and here two young nun companions, sisters Kim and Joyce, whom we met in Not a Blessed Thing! Now the Sisters involve themselves in their own Chicago neighborhood, thanks to the gregariousness and friendliness of Sister Joyce, who is always willing to play baby sister. Four young ex- or almost ex-married women make themselves strongly in evidence as the MOMSIEs, acronym for "My One Mistake Sure Is Enough" and are quire willing to go on at length about their resentment of husbands. Particularly when one of them is brutally murdered… When, however, two more young women in the vicinity are found strangled, the focus of crime broadens and the search for the culprit or culprits becomes increasingly complicated, involving an intimate acquaintance with a radio station that has quite openly been filling the role of pimp. Challenged by her passion for justice, the confusion of the police, and particularly by the fact that her very own neighbors are involved, in a spectacular and satisfying conclusion Sister Mary Teresa catches the killer. A totally refreshing and different crime story!. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
