The first UK edition, first impression of this novel in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Signed by the author to the title page. Jo Nesbø is the most successful Norwegian author of all time, selling some 50 million copies of his novels worldwide. His work has been translated into over 50 languages. He is known primarily for his crime novels featuring Inspector Harry Hole, who features in this novel. The Norwegian title of this novel translates along the lines of "armoured heart", which is what Harry Hole gains by his experiences during this case, in which he investigates serial killings in Oslo. This novel was first translated into English in 2011 by Don Bartlett. In publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in immaculate condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Very minor shelf wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper and small faint marks to the front of the wrap; otherwise in excellent condition. Fine
