London: George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd,, [1928]. Notably fresh Signed limited edition, number 146 of 250 British copies signed and numbered by the artist. A further 125 signed and numbered copies were issued for America. Quarto. Original Japanese vellum, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, colour pictorial endpapers, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Colour frontispiece and seven colour plates mounted on paper, with lettered paper guards, black and white illustrations in the text, all by Rackham. Head and foot of spine slightly bumped, occasional browning, fixed endpapers slightly cockled; a near-fine copy. Latimore & Haskell, pp. 63-4; Riall, pp. 164-5.
