About This Item
New York: Dodd, Mead and Company, 1916. Reprint. . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Caswell, Edward C.. Bound in blindstamped brown cloth with titles stamped in white. Book three in the "Football Eleven" series. With four illustrations on coated paper by E. C. Caswell, all present. Mattson & Davis format one, with the book just shy of eight inches tall. First editions in this series must have corresponding dates to the title and copyright pages, and this copy lacks the title page date, hence an early reprint. The cloth shows only very light edgewear and the white lettering is nearly intact on the front cover and about 75% intact on the spine, much better than the average copy. Hinges solid; binding square. Clean, tight and unmarked. See photos. Mattson & Davis 26300. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
