(Florence): Privately Printed, (1935). First Edition. Original wraps. Fine/fine. 12p, 12mo. A fine bright copy, one of 5 numbered copies bound in Sicily paper, this copy #1 and the first copy off the press. Frederic Prokosch poet and printer of this pamphlet. Prokosch has painted a lovely watercolor and tipped it in as a frontispiece and signed by him. Signed by Prokosch on the colophon where he has written in pencil "Printer's note: This was the first copy off the press FP" Tipped into the inside front cover is Prokosch's bookplate "From the Library of Frederic Prokosch" and signed by him. Laid in is one page, folded with Prokosch's printing notes and auction records from 1969-1972 all in Prokosch's hand and initialed by him. Wade 185 Enclosed in a morocco and marbled boards slipcase
