William Blackwood & Sons, 1887. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1887. No Edition Stated. 465 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Rough-cut pages are mildly tanned with some foxing throughout. Heavy cracking to hinges, causing boards to be loose. Binding throughout is shaky, however pages remain attached. Paper remnants to front pastedown. Water staining to text block edges with front pastedown and endpaper. Minor red marks to fore edge of text block. Inscribed by a previous owner. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Fraying to spine edges. Water stains with black marks overall. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
