London: Printed for C. Dilly in the Poultry; J. Dodsley, Pall-Mall; and T. Evans, in the Strand, 1781. Hardcover. Good. 409 p. 21 cm. Half leather with very rubbed marbled boards. Leather missing at the top two corners. Top of back board bent and loose, heavily rubbed at bottom. Edges worn, covers scuffed. The text block is clean and bright with marbled fore-edge. Text pages clean and unmarked.

Author was the godson of Jonathan Swift. In Two Parts. Containing Part I. The Art of Reading Prose. Part II. The Art of Reading Verse.
