About This Item
Second printing. Rough cut page edges. Unclipped DJ has light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. There is an 'Autographed Copy' sticker to the front cover. Signed by Buchwald on the front endpaper and by a previous owner on the half title page. Exactly how Art Buchwald negotiated the rocky path from the dining hall at the Hebrew Orphan Asylum to the best table at Maxim's in Paris is a memorable story, told by a man who has made America laugh for forty years. Never have his skills as a storyteller been put to more affecting use than in the pages of this poignant memoir.
