Small tear at the top of the front free endpaper; some foxing; very good in a dust jacket with some interior tape mends removed and with a fingernail-sized chip in the center of the spine, affecting no lettering. One of the scarcer titles in this series and rare in dust jacket. We have not had one previously.
Synopsis
The League of the Scarlet Pimpernel, published in 1919, is one of Baroness Orczy's sequels to The Scarlet Pimpernel. It contains eleven short stories that detail Sir Percy Blakeney's adventures in rescuing aristocrats and citizens alike from the fate of the guillotine.
