About This Item
London: Eyre & Spottiswode, 1951. Very minor creasing to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, slight bumping to spine ends of blue boards, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Selected pieces from the author's "A Lawyer's Notebook" and from other books published mostly in the 1930s. Topics covered include the Law, obviously, but also memoirs of his time at Eton and Baliol in the 1890s and 1900s, and other lighter matters. 355pp, b&w frontispiece.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
