About This Item
London: Arundel Prints, 1931. No dustwrapper, some wear to corners of paper-covered boards, a tear to top end of blue cloth spine strip, binding starting to give way at first page of text, seven of the twelve tipped-in colour illustrations have creasing to the bottom left-hand corner, but otherwise a not too bad copy of this hard-cover book featuring the author's monkey character "Gran'pop" and his assorted animal friends going to the Fair. No publication date shown but it was 1931. 26pp, 12 tipped-in colour illustrations of Gran'pop and friends plus another smaller one, also by Wood, showing two children sitting on a wall which would have come from some other book.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Wood, Lawson. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
