Chicago: Henry Regnery Company, 1955. Imagist poet Richard Aldington (1892-1962) launched this savage attack on the reputation of T.E. Lawrence. This is a Near Fine copy of the First American Edition. Blue cloth binding with gilt titling on the spine. Clean text; 448 pages; with maps, photos, sources, bibliography, index. Lightly bumped; else a Fine copy. The dustjacket is Very Good; unclipped; showing some edgewear, with some creasing and small chips. In an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
