About This Item
New York: G.W. Dillingham, Publisher, 1886. Later American edition. Octavo, green cloth blocked in black and gilt, pp. vii, 328, + 4 pages of Dillingham's ads dated 1887. Dillingham was the succesor to G.W. Carleton and this is a scarce imprint. This copy belonged to Canadian author Adele Wiseman, and shows her tiny pencil initials and date of Nov 18 '65, on the front pastedown. Previous owner's name and Boston 1892 on endpaper, binding a bit shaken, else a good copy with rubbing and wear to the cloth..
