Paris: Virgilije Nevjestic, 1973. Virgilije Nevjestic. A portfolio of 20 LARGE SIGNED AND MATTED COLOR ETCHINGS (with aquatint) BY VIRGILIJE NEVJESTIC, the Croatian surrealist master. Edition limited to 30 numbered sets (most of which have been broken up for the individual prints), all printed on fine Rives wove paper. Each etching is signed, justified, and stamped by the artist. The justification / colophon is also signed, justified, and stamped. A presentation copy, with a signed inscription by the artist on the dedication page. Folio. Loose as issued in wraps, cloth chemise and clamshell box. A PRISTINE SET, AS NEW, EXACTLY AS ISSUED, WITH NO DEFECTS. Nevjestic's masterpiece, and extremely rare.
