Volume 2 only (L-Z) of White and Riddle's definitive Latin-English dictionary, this being the 1872 Fourth Edition; text in triple columns; this copy in contemporary three-quarter calf with gilt titling to spine, 6 compartments, raised bands; black buckram sides, marbled endpapers and text block; heavy foxing to prelims, marbling faded to text block; Good and clean throughout; front board heavily rubbed and with prominent stain and spotting, leather with wear along joints and raised bands.
