A charming copy of Thomas Hardy's poetry collection, a prominent Victorian writer and poet, in the original dust wrapper. A charming copy of the prestigious writer and poet Thomas Hardy's Late Lyrics and Earlier. The musical poetry collection opens with an apology from Hardy that some of the poems contained were written quite lately. In the original very smart, unclipped dust wrapper. In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with a small mark to the front board and very slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The wraps of the unclipped dust jacket is very smart with some taping to the reverse of the spine and some chips to the head of the dust jacket spine. Spine of the dust wrapper is a little discoloured. Internally, firmly bound. There are a few scattered spots throughout, though the pages remain bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
