"Willing to fly anything that would stay in the air, Neil Malllroy finds himself pushing a patched-up Bristol on a mail run across the dense Amazon jungle, a job that no one else would touch. But Mallory, happy as long as he was flying hadn't reckoned on the Rio das Mortas- the last place God made- and Sam Hannah, an American WW1 ace now on a long slide to nowhere in the back country of Brazil." (from the dustjacket).
