Critic and novelist Ford Madox Ford (pseudonym for Ford Herman Hueffer, 1873-1939) is noted for his "Parade's End" tetralogy based on his experiences on the Western Front in World War One. This is a Very Good copy of the final novel in that series. First American Edition (copyright to Albert & Charles Boni) which preceded the English version.Tan cloth binding with a lighter tan linen spine; paper labels on spine and front cover. Clean text; 285 pages. No dustjacket. Corners are bumped; very slightly cocked; light surface soiling; small inkspot on spine label. The fragile paper labels are not rubbed. A serviceable copy, but not for the advanced collector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
