London: Cassell. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1930. First Edition; Third Printing. Hardcover. F. E. Smith (1872 - 1930) was a British Conservative politician and a lawer who was also Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain and a great friend of Winston Churchill. This book was one of his last. A little spotting to the foredge of the book and a few whitish spots to the original blue publisher's binding; the gilt spine lettering is dull. No owner name or other markings to the interior or exterior. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 426 pages .
