J.N. Dent & Co/ Charles Scribner's Sons, 1919. Hardcover. Very Good +. A Beautiful Very Good+ volume in 3/4 leather with blue/green cloth and marbled end-papers. Top edge gilt; barely worn corners. A period printed bookplate on inside cover (marbled end-papers). NO other markings, at all. Clean and tight . Tissue guard in place over illustration at front. Profusely illustrated throughout. Only one date, on title page. Leather Spine (five hubs) has sunned, but still bright gilt titles. Elegant volume. Printed in Great Britain. Author is probably best known for his "Tales From Shakespeare' written for children with his sister Mary Lamb. 254 pages.
