Boards sharp and clean, gilt perfect. Text block clean, with the usual heavy toning to the edges, due to paper quality. Feels very lightly read. Sharp spine ends, Near fine condition. Jacket is also near fine with some crimping to the edges, no other issues. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A near fine copy of this title, the book of the Bertolucci film, has three sections of photographs of the Emperor and stills from the film. Looks great on the shelf in the fitted archival cover
