George H. Doran Company, 1927. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Eleanor Osborn Eadie. Hardcover/ no DJ; VG+ to Near Fine condition. Appears to be First Edition & first printing, c. 1927, ""A"" on copyright page. 186 pages, color frontis, color & b/w text illus. by Eleanor Osborn Eadie. Bright yellow cloth binding is tight w/ little wear- just a trace of soil & rubbing, v. light tilt to spine. NO bumps, rubs, frays or spine discolor. All red lettering & decoration bright & intact. Bit of discolor inside front cover, where glue from an old bookplate has dried (bookplate no longer present). Pictorial endpapers & text are tight, bright & clean; 3 ink numbers circled in bottom corner of back cover- minor. NO hinge splits, NOT ex library. Handsome copy- displays very well.
