Underwood-Miller, 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Signed. Hardcover, signed and limited trade edition. Underwood-Miller, 1979. Limited to 500 copies, of which 111 are signed and numbered by the author on a limitation page. This is one of the 389 trade edition copies, but has been signed by the author on the title page. A Fine hardcover, full bound in pale yellow cloth with black lettering to the spine. Clean inside and out, with no markings of any kind; binding is solid and square. Map endpapers at front and rear. The unclipped dust jacket is in Very Good condition, with a thin line of discoloration along the bottom edge of the spine and some crinkling at the head of the spine. Cover and interior art by Joe Pierson.
Synopsis
The Languages of Pao is a science fiction novel by Jack Vance, first published in 1958, in which the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis is a central theme.
